I don't think you're being at all realistic. Have you tried an international, inter-cultural move, while disabled and broke? The post mentioned "I live with family", so I don't think selling "that expensive USA

A couple of decades ago, when I was young(er) and (more) foolish, I several times did the drive between Columbia, SC and Dallas, TX in a single day. It was just a touch over a thousand miles. Idiocy.

I'm sure aerodynamics play a part, but insect population decline is a very real issue. You (and your dog) may think you have a "bug problem" where you live, but the wider picture is grim. https://www.nhm.ac.uk/

The Register 's style is to use every bad pun, innuendo, or corny joke they can find. They'd do the same regardless of the nationality involved.

It's The Register . If there's a bad pun somewhere remotely within reach, they'll use it. I don't think it reflects an anti-Chinese bias, just a deliberately irreverent style.

A slightly different situation, but it reminds me of the classic election-day crossword, which was cleverly constructed to support either outcome: http://www.alaricstephen.com/main-featured/2017/7/3/the-c

Hah, to me it looked like an ASCII-fied version of the Swedish word verb meaning "forgive". "Jag förlåter dig" = "I forgive you".

Sounds like you're basically reinventing SRI: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subresource_Integrity One issue with cross-site caching, though, is that it may enable timing-based attacks on privacy.
