Can you actually take a cab across a border? I've never tried, but I'd assume cab drivers wouldn't want to cross a border. I'm curious to see how that would work.

That's not exactly unusual, for example pytorch has Python, C++, C, and Cuda.

Makes sense, thanks for sharing! I'll take it your recommendation to not buy also includes the upcoming project digits box from Nvidia?

It could if they make it so that the tax is also applied based on the miles driven whenever the car changes ownership or is disposed of at the end of its life. Cheating on the self reported mileage would only defer the tax, not avoid it.

The apparent brightness is caused by the ratio of on/off and is called the duty cycle. 50% brightness would mean that half the time the light is on, and half the time the light is off. If the cycling of the light on and off is done at

What's the recommended way to run LLMs these days? Ollama seems to work with DeepSeek R1 with enough memory using an older CPU but it's around 1 token/second on my desktop.

It was much smaller and people wrote on Usenet to connect with one another, not to shout in the void while corporations hoover all the content.

It would make more sense for Canada to have a free trade agreement like the EFTA, than joining the European Union. There's the CETA already, but it's still provisional after over seven years.

That works, it makes it possible to watch the video now. :-) The only thing that had me stumped was that to add a subscription one needs to press enter, I don't recall if that was the behavior before. Appreciate all the changes!

That's pretty great, just tried it. I'd have a few feature requests: - Make it possible to delete downloaded videos - Show more than just a few weeks worth of videos per channel. For example, if I look at @AndrejKarpathy I only se

Out of curiosity, where do you get your oil change done? The local mechanic here can do it the same day, and they're next to a restaurant. Last time I did an oil change and tire rotation I just grabbed lunch while they worked on it. Th

I'd argue that robo taxis are a bit different. I've had some pretty sketchy experiences with poor driving on ride shares, and some women prefer having a robo taxi to a human driven one for evening rides. The only bad interactions

That's interesting, it basically means that the coins that are seized are basically out of the market, increasing the value of the coins left in circulation. However, at some point the US government could start to liquidate a large pos

That's assuming that the expectation is that the government keeps the same services afterwards. It seems the strategy is closer to making services dysfunctional to the point where they're unsalvageable, then cut funding for them b

If you can charge at home overnight, then your "tank" is full every morning. The logistics are a bit more complicated for long distance road trips though.

I've been pretty happy with my plug in hybrid, you get the convenience of charging at home so most day to day miles are electric with no carbon emissions, but without having to worry about where to charge on road trips.
