If you're OK with having separate windows, you can use a different profile for each one. Chrome handles this much better than firefox. For example, I silo my facebook browsing with: chrome --app= https://facebook.com --user-data-dir=/hom

Is there any reason coffeescript can't be extended to support the same thing without parentheses? That feels fairly natural to me since it's similar to the object literal syntax. Edit: Couldn't find that this has ever been suggested before

This is an improvement, but this ranking will be biased towards languages that generate lots of questions. A language that attracts more seasoned developers that also has decent documentation will rank lower than it should.

No, you don't want a count, you actually want a list of those IDs so that you can later reopen each file and count how many distinct entries there are in it, aka. divide and conquer.

I've been thinking of making a pure-ruby javascript interpreter in order to embed it into ExecJS as a fallback for when nothing else is present. I believe this is only the case on Linux, but I've found that it gives my coworkers who are try

I've thought about something similar, but for a different reason. I'd like to be able to omit the parenthesis on multiline, chained statements, like this: $ 'class' .addClass 'babies' .removeClass 'kids'

The advantage of Ubuntu LTS over Debian is that security updates are provided for five years. Since there is a new LTS update every two years, you have a three year upgrade window, as opposed to the year-long window of Debian.
