Can anyone chime in on the app store review procedure? Is each app assigned an individual review monkey, or is it passed through multiple hands? Methinks Apple needs better screening and performance evaluation of their app store employees.

I think the article is aimed at the vocal detractors of technologies they have never touched, not those who reject something based on others' sound analysis. Just make sure your opinion sources have gotten their hands dirty.

Gotta differ with you on the OO point. There are quite a few fundamental differences, both in terms of low-level implementation and common usage. AS3 has true class-based object definition, packages and namespaces, for example. AS2's class

I admit to only reading part of the article, but it seems like the author just wants a media scripting language, not a "programming" language, which AS3 has become. The sandboxing and unloading are legitimate issues, but have nothing to do

Been lurking here for awhile, but this article compelled me to finally register. It's the best introductory article I've ever read for any language. The XML analogy instantly illuminated the basic Lisp ideology for me, and it's a great exam
