There's clearly no fail-safe (even moderately so) solution to this problem on the centralized internet. Yet more reason for Secure Scuttlebutt, Dat and IPFS to exist.

Typescript may not work for all types of applications - in fact there is no language that does. So picking one project and generalizing it often comes out of inexperience. As a counter example, VSCode is easily bigger than the Deno codebase

It's unfair to lay the blame squarely on private companies when things like this happen. If we have to defend freedom, democratic nations need to step up. The US probably will (for various reasons), but Europe won't. Europe will

I've used plenty of Oracle; it's a poor choice (probably the worst) for organisations of any size. People buy Oracle in large corporations because that's what their leaders and their team know, and it helps them stay relevant

CoreRT is definitely the most exciting project in the .Net stable. But there seems to be some people within MS who don't want to go in that direction - mostly for the reason that it won't be compatible with all of the existing cod

A big benefit with static typing is the ability to refactor easily. It takes time to get design and code right, in a way that captures the requirements well as well as code quality. With static typing, you get immediate feedback while you t
