The concept of entropy pushes one to think of binary trees. Huffman coding used in real compressors use Huffman trees [1] that express the prefix code used to define entropy as in Colah's blog http://colah.github.io/pos

There are connections in physics and it fueled important Algebraic Geometry post war developents, to me is the divergent series aspect that is mysterious.

If you think what you say is important, don't occlude it by a video of rant having nothing to do with it. And don't start the piece with a 20 years ago study. Inbound marketing.

I am aware of the categorical treatment and that's how I think about Bayesian nets, but would like to know something about the sheaf-theory aspect of it. Also: it puzzles me that Algebraic Geometry is mentioned in this context, how

I would've been positive if Brian Herbert would have left us the option to peek at the unedited legacy notes, whatever the crude state the were left in. It's also sad that the literature Art is in a state that no contemporary or p

Do you know of an interactive, easy and free software to build and simulate our own versions of the asia net and example or other custom built ones? I used to like GeNIe but it isn't free anymore.

The book of Frenkel (the guy of the photo), Love and Math, is one way to go from zeto to not being 100% clueless about the Langlands program, and enjoy the time at the same time. Very likable.

Yeah the other book is very sweet and accesible, and quantum computing is very amenable to the monoidal category treatment as Coecke shows pleasantly in 'Picturing Quantum Processes', 110710422X.

I maintain an idea notebook in latex via Lyx and presently, while reading a math PDF I have to paste a screenshot in paint, clip there an equation, and paste the image in lyx. Very clumsy.

I'm reading him now (Dynamics, statistics and projective geometry of Galois fields) and find the ideas likable. He talks about dynamic systems whose state spaces are finite fields, for instance the geometric progression of the primiti

Recently Coecke comments on Gärdenfors geometric meaning in the context of his categorical semantics that I'm finding interesting, in arXiv:1608.01402. What I would welcome is a computational link relating that semantics and oldie sema

Perhaps you like thinking and that's the only thing you presently want to do. If not agree, is that you think that you propely want something specific, but if that were the case these problems you refer to would not be appearing, your
