I'm in exactly the same spot. What I did for the last 6 months or so was hanging out here on hacker news (taking the air in), bouncing ideas off with a friend and collecting and refining ideas on a password-protected wiki page. With a bit o

Reminds me of Malcom Gladwell's 10,000 hours rule (he wrote about it in Outliers).

Great idea. You're solving a problem for quite a bunch of people. It looks pretty cool, too. > Sorry, Windows and Linux users: we definitely have you in mind, but we want to get our Mac application perfect before we release for other pl

Well, interesting. Less features than Google Docs has, but I'm afraid people will like it simply because it looks more like their Office 2007/2010 :( They'll have much less work than Google Docs in convincing users to use it. meh.

True, sadly. I'd donate money just to see this giant spamhole gone, better: replaced by a successor. Every bit of value a myspace profile might have is destroyed by a crappy design, misused fields, "thanks for the add" messages and just pla

I'm still working on this, too. Read the classic NADD description: http://randsinrepose.com/archives/2003/07/10/nadd.html if you don't know it yet ;)

I love how the characters developed. Only a few days left until Lost ends. Living with it since 2004, it'll be like losing a good friend.

It's quite a problem. I'd really appreciate if google could just let me search for strings i put in quotes exactly the way they are. Recently I wanted to google stuff about the windowmanager i3. It was quite difficult, even with queries lik

Clementine looks promising but isn't quite there yet. I'm pretty happy with Quodlibet for now but will keep Clementine and the Songbird Fork on my radar.
