Seriously? How on earth could this have not been uncovered long ago? I know that the pbay lawyers are really good, I wonder if they knew this all along and held it as a card in case they lost. I mean, the judge is not just a member of a Swe

Often when I'm confronted with a policy suggestion I think, "I can't possibly know enough about the ecosystem that policy impacts to say whether the policy would succeed." Not being a domain expert in most issues, I reserve judgement on the

Yeah, it is a funny name. I'm not sure, though, about this link. Seems a little spammy. When I saw this link on HN, with a little "mozilla.org" I thought, "Wow, someone at Mozilla is blogging about a cool plugin." But no, the DDG guys just

Hmmm. What the article describes as "The Elevator Effect" is basically traffic spikes due to effective PR. Alone such spikes are worthless. Without a product people actually get value from (ie: what enables organic growth), the spike just d

I've been waiting for this feature for a really long time. Reminds me of 2005 when I was waiting for them to come out with Calendar and waiting for someone to come out with easy video publishing. Was so happy to see these products get made.

The textbook for this course is actually online, so in this instance the problem's solved. They're using the free book "How to Think Like a Computer Scientist," by Allen B. Downey. Check it out here: http://www.greenteapress.com/thinkpytho
