With respect, I’m not seeing how your first addOne example returns an integer one greater than its integer argument. Am I missing something?

I wonder about drivers for PCIe add-in cards for the new Mac Pro. I have a client that has asked me to develop such a driver for their card so they can run on modern Mac Pro systems. I’d work entirely in userland via DriverKit if I could, b

Thank you for this. I'll take a look at Pixelmator Pro and their "ML Super Resolution." It seems credible to me that some kind of ML approach ought to be useful here.

Thank you for this. I don't know much about this topic, but it seems reasonable to think that multiple frames ought to be useful in estimating subpixel values. I agree with your take on the suggestion that that police won't spend

For what it's worth, I also used DG/UX, MV/UX and AOS/VS on Data General equipment (MV/10000, MV/4000) at the University of Washington in the 1985ish time-frame. I remember porting many BSD 4.x utilities to MV&

What about meeting people lacking empathy where they are at, and trying to connect with them? Sometimes a perceived lack of empathy has its roots in a lack of human connection.

It’s important that systems have some design margin (buffers of one kind or another) so that a disruption / transient event in one part of the system is absorbed locally and not passed on to the rest of the system.

I can still hear the sound that an ASR-33 would make as it was typing out a listing. I was fortunate to attend a high school in 1975 or so that had a DEC PDP-8 with an attached ASR-33 with paper tape reader and punch. I remember that it too
