It's drug money like reporting. In this case, three old Datsuns were stolen, reported to the police as four recent Jaguars, who wrote down five Porsches, and finally reported as 1 Veyron.

The way “acceptable ads” works, Mr. Palant and Mr. Faida explained, is that Web sites agree to publish certain advertisements that meet Adblock Plus’s standards on intrusiveness — no beeping or flashing, nothing that slows the computer’s o

A strange article. The only winning strategy was not to read it. Regarding the Pre being slow, I for one never felt it was slow. I returned mine for two reasons, each of which had kept me on Treo and prevented me from moving to iPhone, eac

I think your metaphor is slightly off. You're not just complaining about "trolling the internet", but more about trolling homo sapiens via its vulnerability to the two minute hate virus. This exploit, most famously described by Orwell, is c

But see, it's not an either-or. Nordstrom doesn't have to become Walmart, and not all phones have to compete as feature phones. Certainly Apple knows it will die if it has to compete as a feature phone. The question is how you stay away fro

My point wasn't whether you can purchase these phones there, although that you can, certainly does weaken my point. My point is that Walmart is positioned as "Always low prices". The Galaxy line is not positioned that way. The Galaxy line s

"That's not really all that differentiable, and it costs money both short and long-term." The classic counter example is Nordstrom. Nordstrom looks at you and figures that if they keep you as a customer, you will spend $100,000 at Nordstro

The author states that updating "older" products really has no return for Samsung (or other manufacturers), and is actually a form of cannibalization with their new products. That of course is just classic "planned obsolescence", long criti
