Exactly! Just like people who aren't infovegans think that infoveganism just means eschewing mainstream media and feeling superior about it! It's a perfect analogy!

I'm curious as to how it would look if you used some other measure of entropy besides local symbol frequency. Probably a general purpose compression algorithm should give you a good idea, like gzipping the blocks. Hmm, I'm not sure if this

Sort of off topic but the authors response is a bit insane. >"The origin of the confusion is that in one source file in cphack (note that cphack is just one of the four main items in the cp4break package), there's a comment saying "Rele

I can honestly say that this is the most accurate simulation of my color blindness I have ever seen. Usually I can tell a difference between the two if I look back and forth, and almost always when I flip between the images quickly. But

Hmm...I don't think you would need that much of a performance drop. If the data was received encrypted, you could have a relatively small decryption key sent when necessary, thus solving the "prefetch from server" problem. If the model file

You're conflating social construct with social norm. You can make claims about why you express mutual respect, that doesn't make it the only reason why someone might do so.
