I can't really. I don't have other sensors besides the temperature matching what the thermostat says. In the talk I linked, DHH said he had tried dozens of other sensors and found this one surprisingly accurate for the price point

I'm eager to hear the results. I recently got an Awair 2.0 after seeing this talk by DHH: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRqh8oLY7Ik It quickly confirmed that, without turning my thermostat fan to "ON", my b

I didn't say the UI would be different for paid accounts. That's a bizarre idea. The difference is with a paid account you can skip as many songs you don't like and face no problems. When I do the same, I quickly run into 3+

OK, fair enough. I could have sworn I tried this many, many times and never got it to work. Possibly because you have to click on the image and not on the expand button and not on the song name or album name for this to work... And it&#

Malice? No. Prioritization? Sure. Monetization never affects prioritization discussion? I understand not everything that can make it in and I understand not making features for power users, especially ones that clutter up the UI. But this i

Thanks for the tip! I usually guess this command to be available in a text based UI and represent a search, but it's presence in a menu list UI like Spotify and it's function as a filter is a complete surprise.

One infuriating thing about economic incentives and Spotify: Very often, when a song comes up, I will want to delete it from my current playlist because it no longer interests me. In many years it has been practically impossible in the UI

I find it hard to believe Kendrick Lamar falls in that bucket and with that, I can't take this article very seriously.

OHOL is fantastic and is, at heart, about parenting, aging, and death. I'm a big Rohrer fan and death seems like a recurring theme throughout his games: -Passage: where you pass through an entire life in 5 minutes -The Castle Doctrine:

Is this a historical piece or is there enough detail on how you would recreate your own version of Doom? If not, is there anything like the latter?

The study design seems silly. The subjects did better recalling scents after one hour when they had that whole hour to continue smelling any lingering particles of the scent. That's surprising?

Interesting article and really highlights how stupid we are as a society to keep destroying ourselves with this stuff. The writing style was distracting though. I enjoyed it but felt guilty for doing so because it felt too indulgent for lac

This is my 6th go round doing 7DRL. I've had a lot of fun every year, turned one of my games into a complete polished Steam game, and come up with some wacky stuff each time. But this is the first entry that got the top score in the ch
