This is the whole point of the book. It explores the various possibilities. Of which this is but one. Living a miserable dementia-ridden existence is another. Who could know which you’re going to get?

Lionel Shriver’s ‘Should We Stay or Should We Go’ (book, 2021) is a fun look at this idea. No-spoiler TL;DR: a couple decide to end it when she hits 80, because they know that life only gets worse. The book plays through various scenarios:

The XState (JS framework) docs and community are great. Spend a bit of time hanging out there and you'll get the idea. I'm a big fan. https://xstate.js.org

As usual, it depends. I just tested my own site, which I built using Gatsby — a JS framework — and https://astro.build , whose entire schtick is that they deliver as little JS to the page as possible. (Because I’m thinking of reb

When one doesn’t need to be worried about being elected, one can make decisions based on principle, and the longer-term view, rather than pandering to popular opinion. We always complain that politicians work on a two-year cycle. If your po

Thanks for the thoughtful response. If someone from this sort of list — I’ll pass on the priest, thanks, but otherwise — could make it, yeah, okay. Perhaps I’m just jaded. I don’t see it happening. I see it being one of the same old dudes t

When you bring an unpaired AirPods case close to a phone, all you need to do is open the lid. A photorealistic visual will appear on screen explaining what to do next. At this point, guided by the visual, you need to push the button on the
