He is also one of the sharpest developers I have had the fortune to speak to (and do some minor work with on the mailing list) and he knows a lot about performance and profiling. I 100% think that he found it on his own. He would also be an

Name choice I disagree with. The attacker used at least Chinese, Indian and Scandinavian names when working on this. It is possible we can find out something by doing a statistical analysis of the language but as far as I know no such analy

Yes, I have met Andres in real life and I can totally believe that he is that in tune with his system. He wrote that he found this while benchmark PostgreSQL and saw weird load from ssh. He does a lot of benchmarking of PostgreSQL patches.

Design by committee is not really common in the PostgreSQL community. Instead people just work on whatever they or their employer wants to. Makes having a roadmap or cohesive plan impossible but the issues of design by committee rarely show

No,they want to make money with software they did not build. The Redis company did not build Redis nor are they the biggest contributor.

It is also some illegal casinos which target the Swedish market "utan spelpaus" means that it is a casino which ignores the Swedish anti-addiction self block. And "utan svensk licens" means that they do not have a Swedis

Yup! I might make an exception at some point but so far I haven't. I believe that all contributors should be equals and not some have more rights than others. Also I need to research and trust the entity which I sign the CLA with.

I am fine with SSPL and AGPL as long as there is no CLA which makes me sign me rights over to someone else. I have never contributed to a project with a CLA and unless an employer pays me for it I do not think I ever will.
