This is just so not true. You can literally launch talos and have an N node cluster in about 10 minutes 9 of which is waiting for downloads, configs, etc. 1 min of configuration. It’s just that easy.

Not related to this but I can’t stand when people add gentle to things as if it helps. It seems so creepy and doesn’t actually change anything “Gentle reminder to xyz” What are you walking up behind me and sensually whispering in my ear?

Sure they could but they have an edge like framework has an edge. If you value the idea that you can theoretically repair your laptop one day (which is an assumption that it will break) more than everyday usability and features… then that’s

I like the idea of framework but after using a MacBook for years and having an iPhone, there’s just no competition. Even if the performance could be the same, you just simply don’t have the ecosystem. I can mirror my phone on my Mac (secure

On prem has become commoditized though. I would bet on aws having stronger security overall than someone running a bunch of physical appliances in their own rack.

Universities aren’t just a source of funding they are a means of doing the research. Universities have plenty of private money too but they refused to allow any research that went against a progressive narrative.

Yes exactly what I’m trying to say. It’s not settled at all. We should not ban anything outright without evidence HOWEVER we should not prescribe things without evidence. The left was suppressing research that went against their politics ju

I will echo sentiments that this is ironic. Where was a Bethesda declaration when the zeitgeist banned any research into things that would upset the narrative around trans medicine in the previous administrations? Where was any outrage over

Both things are true. Trump is destroying our science presence AND Biden and co heavily politicized science regarding gender, trans, all that stuff to the point where you aren’t even allowed to do research at all! Science should ALWAYS be f

Suing isn’t just going to court it means subpoenas, depositions, motions, letters, etc. all this stuff costs a ton of money without you even stepping foot in a court. The system is so broken

Nintendo cheaped out just so they can resell the same thing to the people obsessed with their branding Anything that isn’t an oled simply cannot do HDR. it’s just physically impossible to get the real contrast.

Is this legal isn’t a useful question. The better question is how likely are you to get sued? With civil lawsuits it doesn’t matter if it’s legal you can be sued and harassed by lawyers if you get on their radar.
