We probably saw since React came up at least 20-30 of these "smallest reactive UI frameworks" with similar API but none of them named itself "Vanilla" for a reason. I share the opinions of others in this thread that the

Hey, some feedback from Desktop MacOS Chrome: - When you use CMD key the active component loses the selection (visually) this is a bit confusing, e.g. I used CMD+D and seemingly nothing happened as the selection was lost for a while and the

There is a lot going on the back-end of these big streaming sites and also they have "support over 25 languages, in order to provide 24/7/365" so I'd guess it's in the thousand+ range.

If they offered the same or double the price I would be still raising my eyebrows a bit but 15M lmao, how blatant is that.

Unreal engine is pretty fun, I like the ease of adding models and physics by mouse without writing complex collision detection logics.

I agree with this, we managed to sometimes create SPAs faster even though we had to duplicate template/initial page logic on the server side for each page in case of direct link/page refresh. Nowadays sometimes figuring out which

I had the same feeling with Vue2-3 a while ago, I'd say Svelte is relatively similar in feelgood as both eliminate a lot of annoyances to create "leaner" components compared to React.

Epilepsy warning: if you finish it you might have a page refresh bug where it constantly keeps refreshing (with flashing content) the page - for me it was solved by clearing localStorage (or just close the page I guess), I think this bug ne

No, since I value my mental health better than to walk on eggshells all day with whatever I do being afraid for my job security and take a quick trip to burning out due to overworking myself.

This is how it's (in theory?) more effective to learn new languages using flashcards with a photo attached to text, I guess your brain can associate the information with visual input and somehow can store it better?

A full scroll through is downloading 135MB+ currently, even though it's a quickly made site it's super wasteful imo. The suggested preview gifs (and loading on click) could be a major improvement.

DevDependencies are not installed when you use —production flag at npm install (saving space and time here when you include this package) they are only used for releasing the package versions in this case I assume.

I still save changes to a file if I switch/merge while having a bigger changeset as I use PHPStorm and it caused me a semi heart attack at least 3 times with the “unstashing failed“ error (that also removed it from the stash at the sam

From what I see it wasn't "ripped off" if the original author submitted it to both places (see at bottom) https://medium.com/@larseidnes Or am I missing something?

This example is not too relevant because the overhead is probably the additional tools (e.g. debug, error handlers, etc), there should be multiple examples for a normal comparison, e.g. 3-4 examples of more and more advanced code since then

First thing I thought about was runtime monkeypatching - while this could be done via simple string replacement during build time (via webpack/rollup etc plugins) now you will be able to do it runtime as well.

I found a similar issue with the git commit log example (when filtering from initial state and clearing filter) - I guess it can be reproduced via a "heavier" example e.g. a couple hundred nodes with more frequent state changing.
