In my past job, I was desperately looking to get an open source Slack alternative. The ones I tested then (few months back) didnt hold up nicely against Slack. I'm happy to see that finally there's some good competition.

Why cant we have both? Like the 2FA? Have the users enter their user/pass in the first page. The second and third pages then asks the Auth Factor II or Auth Factor III fields

Putting it up on jsfiddle lets you see all the html/css/js at the same place, and also helps you tinker with it. You could say its one and the same thing, and I'd say it is - but maybe a lil more :) -jeff

Mistakes _can_ be made with/without Google+. I agree that Google+ makes it a little too easy to make something like that. But that shouldnt be the measuring stick while evaluating the potential of such a tool.

LinkedIn has always eluded me because of their bad design. "bad" might be a strong words, but considering how "clean" and "fresh" Facebook and Google+ looks - LinkedIn sure does look bad.

Gmail used to do that with their attachment. You choose the attachment, and it silently starts to upload. Most applications wait for you to hit "Send" to start uploading.
