Ha, it looks like I registered this domain name a month after star.me in 2008. As I mentioned in the post, I have been using this for a couple of years with my son and only just now decided to open it up.

How about "Joey" is working towards a "new stuffy" (or whatever). When he goes potty 10 times, he gets a new stuffy. I was also thinking that maybe there doesn't need to be an end reward… getting 10 stars may be the reward in itself.

Anim comes from an Ojibway (Native American) word meaning thunderbird. We pronounce it "ah-neem".

Well the game he's got in mind is a Harry Potter game so I wouldn't be able to create it without getting copyright. But he is talking about maybe somebody who made the other iPhone Harry Potter game will see his video and make his game :)

The sample size is low. As I mentioned in the blog post, it was admittedly a crude method of getting data. But it was a fun exercise for me to create this. Hope some people get value out of it. I'm getting a steady stream of HN parents send
