I don't believe you're correct. It seems like the option that Debian decided on _will_ remove those features for users who are upgrading a package. Users who already have the keypassxc package will need to explicitly switch packag

That does allow you to change the default for users installing the packages and while ensuring that users who already have it installed don't lose functionality during an upgrade.

Yeah, I generally do _not_ like programming-oriented ligatures, but the one for todo is sort of interesting. However, many editors can accomplish the same goal by highlighting or changing the text colour of todos.

I'm a fan of heat pumps, but as a Canadian living in the UK I think the _first_ steps should be things like finding and patching up drafts, using double-glazed windows with low-e coatings, and improving insulation. Those will let you g

You can probably buy "draft sticks" or something similar. They put out a little bit of smoke that you can use to find the source of your worst drafts so you can get them sealed.

In the winter I always leave my tub full and the bathroom door open after taking a hot bath to allow more of the heat to warm my home. I paid to heat that water up, so I damn well want to get as much out of it as I can.

The O.MG cable proves that there are widespread vulnerabilities to exploit. The fact that this hasn't been exploited in the wild much is good, but doesn't mean that the advice is wrong. Unless the vulnerabilities themselves are al

That's quite the rebuttal to an argument I didn't make. I was neither supporting nor opposing the idea of disabling the ability to use S3 publicly. While I agree with the new default I would not support removal of the feature.

You pay egress fees either way but the Cloudfront fees are lower. I believe Cloudfront also still has a free tier which cuts out egress fees on the first X GB of data.

You could still do that with Cloudfront. It's simple to configure but makes it a deliberate action and not something that could be done accidentally.
