Were you going to vote for the guy who later endorsed the corporate-owned neoconservative warhawk? Because, given that, it seems like his principles weren't worth very much.

The only episodes that even came close to making me feel like the older episodes did were "Playtest" and "Men against Fire," but even they're not up to par. I think San Junipero is widely overrated, the pacing is aw

IIRC Christians prohibited charging interest on loans (usury), not banking per se. I suppose a bank could be operated by Christians that simply accepted deposits and charged a sum for safekeeping with no loans whatsoever. I don't know

The United States didn't abolish slavery until after the civil war as one of the Reconstruction Amendments. In a way, the war triggered abolition (or spurred it to happen more quickly), not the other way around.

I've not tried the Kia or the VW, but I enjoyed it a lot better than the Leaf and found the interior to be nicer. It may be spartan in how it looks, but a great deal more thought was put into the layout than in the Leaf.

The i3 is ugly, but it's a lot of fun to drive. The only reason I don't own one is that it doesn't have enough range. I make 120-mile trips fairly frequently and it's just not practical for that.
