DNSCrypt, especially with anonymization?

DNSCrypt mainly uses UDP, doesn't allow amplification, allows client IP anonymization.

Or anonymized DNSCrypt, which is far more deployed and reliable.

I just use dnscrypt-proxy. A GUI is not really useful IMHO. And at scale, dnscrypt-proxy's logs can go to ES/Kibana if really needed.

Or replace your compiler with zig cc, that already includes a cache.

It can be compiled to WASI but there are no instructions on how to use zig cc to do it?

It was originally written for a project running on Arduino Uno, where every byte of code and memory counts. Stack usage, in particular, had to be very controlled. C and assembly were the only options. Zig didn't exist back then.

There are no practical attacks on Gimli when used as intended. That being said, Gimli in libhydrogen may eventually be replaced by Xoodoo.

Yes, libhydrogen is a pun, as it is lighter than libsodium. The first version was a rewrite of libsodium, that was small and contained in a single C file. Also introduced xchacha20 for the first time. Then, the Gimli paper was published, an

Looks like this is heavily based on libhydrogen, but without nonce-misuse resistance (not a good idea in this context IMHO)? Nothing wrong with that, and I'm glad that libhydrogen was useful for Tesla, but mentioning it would have been

As clearly stated on the front page, you can install it on your own server if you want to. This is open source, and they even provide a ready-to-run Docker image.

Super useful tool! Plus, it's multi platform. I'm using it to synchronize directories between hosts running macOS, OpenBSD and Linux. Everything works fine. I haven't tried the Docker Desktop extension since I switched to Col

It doesn't support Rust at all. There's just a GitHub repository with a toy example in Rust, that uses nothing but direct unsafe calls to five C functions. But Python, yeah, definitely. That's the beauty of this calculator.

For modules to be run in a web browser, yes. Not outside the browser, with WASI instead of a Javascript context.

AES is useful beyond AES-GCM. Constructions such as AES-CMAC, but also recent ones such as AEGIS only require the AES round function.

Zig is probably the most common tool to compile C/C++ to WebAssembly outside the browser, but the Zig language itself has first-class support for WebAssembly/WASI. The resulting modules are small and very optimized.
