If you're running Ubuntu Desktop and want to run modern game systems like Steam then I think you'd want to stay on Ubuntu.

Although I'm not a fan of programming in JS, this is pretty darn cool, got 19 FPS on Ubuntu 12.04 with regular FF from the repo.

Wow, I miss smoking, maybe this is how to get that clear lucid feeling back but without the health risks. I know it would be regulated, the government needs to make its two cents too. Right?

Has there been a study to prove that can happen or are you just assuming?

That makes sense, still I think the removable sdcard was the way to go, I had more storage at 32 Gigs with my own sdcard before, now with Nexus 4 I can't mount it and it's limited to 1/3 the capacity.

What is this MTP crap? With my Nexus One I could plug into any Windows or Linux machine and transfer files. With my new Nexus 4, uhm nope. Not without hassle. It sounds like MTP doesn't work all that well and you have to upgrade to the new

Linux haters can't stand that Ubuntu can release new OS versions so often. OTOH, I'm tired of the chase and from now on will just stick with the LTS releases. If I were a some years younger though, I'd be there in the thick of every release

Apple needs to keep their ever loving mitts off Netflix.

Netflix just needs movies, we haven't watched HBO since the 80s'. Their programming was never why we watched anyway. It's all about the movies. If I want original programming, and we do, we watch the education channels, in HD, free OTA.

Netflix deserves it. With them for movies and free HT OTA TV we are 100% cable free. If only they ran in my Chrome browser on Ubuntu like Crackle does.
