The UDM Pro is just a run of the mill switch with 10gig backplane. We really need to start seeing true 8 port 10gig switches at reasonable prices for this to take off. This 4 port Mirotik product is a good first start: https://m

Quite the opposite it seams to enumerate the arguments of both sides (while admitting the authors bias) and doesn't seem to make conclusions either way.

I don't really use IRC anymore but at the time I remember really hating loggers. Chats were informal and I really didn't like them showing up in google results and elsewhere. Not everything needs to be saved.

The history of rushed vaccines is not good. The first attempt at a polio vaccine was rushed through with inadequate safety measures and resulted in 40,000 children getting sick, some with permanent paralysis. There are good reasons vaccines

Actually it does. BSF (Bit Scan Forward) is the most famous which returns an undefined result if your operand is 0. Many instructions leave the state of bits in the FLAGs register undefined. E.g. AAA will leave SF,ZF, and PF undefined. Then

I've been running this in the insider branch for the last 3 months and it's been amazing. You can even recompile your own kernel if you want. Your essentially getting the "real thing" with pretty seamless integration to

Are you sure? That will result in a conversion every time a string is passed to the kernel. Windows can handle utf-8 but it is not the native character set for the platform.

Yes in that order. Maybe you could say big 4, but I find Intel is only popular in smaller niches.

Its also an obscuring factor. Articles with dates specified don't do nearly as well as articles that appear contemporaneous. You can see this with the performance of titles that get modified by the mods, they seem to slow down signif

Both can have exploits as you've shown, but you haven't addressed the difficulty of securing one or the other. Turing complete systems have a dramatically larger state space than non turing complete implementations and so at a fu

True it won't affect latency. Yet caches are pretty good at ensuring most DRAM requests take advantage of the hardware parallelization available. That’s why despite DRAM having pretty much constant latency for the last 20 years bus spe

The speed is not limited by propagation delay, but by signal integrity. It is non trivial to have an external parallel bus operating at low Ghz speed. On chip signals can be much faster because they don’t have the capacitive load. On top

Turbines have great power to weight ratios but very poor efficiency at low loads (cruising on the highway is a low load). GM actually seriously considered this along with Chrysler and it was abandoned due to the oil crises. > General Mo

That's comparing a GTX 2060 to a 2080 in the Intel laptops. Now if you care about gaming it's fair to point out there aren't any GTX 2080 laptops with AMD being reviewed, but it's not an indication of the performance it

The government wasn't looking to maximize their return, if they were they wouldn't have included such huge protections for GM union workers. I don't think return maximization in a micro sense was the right approach anyways.
