Anecdata, but in my experience most normal people (i.e. not extremely politically engaged) understand they're usually choosing between imperfect (often even less-bad) options. I don't get the sense that there's a ton of cogni

A bit off topic, but one of my pet peeves with the go ecosystem is the extreme difficulty in generating nice documentation for private packages. Has anyone solved this problem and I just missed it?

If you're a veteran or the child of a veteran, highly recommend USAA. Tech is fairly good (they had online deposit years before anyone else I was aware of) and the service is unbeatable.

This is an important point. TSMC announced earlier this year that they'll be building a foundry in the US[0], but my understanding from what I read at the time is that it's a relative drop in the bucket. [0] https://www

You're missing the point. "Censorship" is an abridgement of freedom of speech. Whether it's legal censorship or illegal or even government mandated, it's still censorship. You're trying to change the meaning of

This is silly. Of course Facebook's censorship is censorship. It is true that they are not bound by the first amendment in the same way in which Congress (and via incorporation the states) are bound, but freedom of speech is a concept

The cage makes it harder to see the game at your feet. There's also just the culture of hockey. The last un-helmeted NHL player didn't retire until 1997. Referees often didn't wear them for some time thereafter. I remember on

I visited Paris in November 2017 and didn't have to wait at all to see the Mona Lisa. The room had a good number of people in it, but wasn't crowded. My advice: If possible, take your trips in the late fall!
