That's the point. It used to be very slow, clunky, and simply ugly compared to Chrome since the Australis redesign. It's a lot better now, and is about the same in speed plus more memory efficient.

You can bet this will happen with all the early adopter smart home devices like Samsung Smart Things once Amazon's and Google's hubs become the standard.

Chrome honestly hasn't improved much in a while. It's kind of like where Firefox was back in 2012. Now that Firefox is faster and more efficient, maybe they'll start putting more effort back into it.

I take the N/W train into the city every day. You'd be crazy to talk to other people on the train. Everyone has the attitude that they don't want to be bothered and to just have a peaceful commute.

We don't need no IPv6. We just need more NATs. When we run out of space, we just add more NATs. It's NATs all the way down.

First Ubuntu to work out of the box on the 2013 (trashcan) Mac Pro I use at work. I'm seriously impressed!

Looks stylish and artistic. Not exactly what I usually think of when I think of Dropbox. I use them mostly cause they're the most reliable cloud storage method I've tried. But looks nice to me.

Firefox 57 is great. The interface is no longer ugly, and it's no longer oddly sluggish. Once Lastpass has their extension updated to work with WebExtensions, I'll switch.

Micro is very good. I've been using it for a few months as my default Git commit editor, and it works wonderfully.

If a movie is over 2 and a half hours long, and doesn't bring anything new to the table, then I'm not interested.

Linux Desktop is definitely gaining more users. Personally, I didn't start really using Desktop Linux until Ubuntu 16.04. Now I use Ubuntu at work and Manjaro at home.

Windows is kludgy code built on top of klundgy code. From personal experience, there's different ways Visual Studio handles 32 vs 64 bit applications. A lot of memory issues tend to come up that don't appear in the 32 bit versio

The default apps in Ubuntu under Unity are good as-is. I don't feel the need for any changes. But after looking at the 17.10 image, it absolutely needs dash to dock. Gnome is unusable to a lot of people without it. Ubuntu is suppose

We're either going for almost completely flat keyboards like the new Macbooks, or the clickiest most obtuse mechanical keyboards. Why can't we have a good compromise?
