Ok, let me be clear: I apologize for being too forceful, but I still think your comment is very patronizing and I won’t apologize for that.

I’ll be frank, I read your message carefully and I am stil pretty confident about the inferences I made. However, I see your point, my statements are too forceful. I acknowledge that I should have been more graceful and phrased them as ques

EDIT : I found the message about being beyond money to be patronizing, but I regret that I couched my comment in a way that was not charitable. Hence this edit.

Your comment is entirely centered around money and how, since you have enough, you will not bother with startup stuff. You are mistaken about why people create startups, and I do believe you missed that this is not the reason the top poster

The poster above says he has enough money, so that’s why he does not want to bother with investor, acquisitions, metrics, etc. The underlying assumption is that money is why you want to get into startups, which I think is not correct.

Why do you assume the poster above you is in it for the money?

Mmh, the real reason the author came to hate his passion/hobby is that he could not make money from it. It’s that simple.

Citation needed! I don’t think any of this is true and, of course, I would imagine it’s not the same for all sports.

Hi, I've had the same experiences (ruminating about job when I should be sleeping), and listening to SF/fantasy audiobooks in bed seems to help a lot. If you're invested in the story, it stimulates your imagination and crowds

Thank you for explaining, and it’s great that Scrum is working for you and your team! However, I have to admit I still don’t get it. How is Scrum better at handling outcomes? Are you talking about the sprint goal rallying all the team aroun

Thank you for your answer. Actually it’s perfectly doable, just put an outcome swimlane in your kanban, with a rule that says there can only be one card in the « doing » column. I’m starting to realize that most people don’t know how custo

No idea what you mean with outcomes vs means/tasks. Just put outcomes as cards in your Kanban board, they don’t have to be tasks.

Yup, that’s what a unit of work is to me too. It’s a well-known design pattern, so overloading that term for testing seems ill-advised.

Ah, I get it now, thanks. I think I’d rather wrap the test method in an inner class named after the method-under-test, but not all testing frameworks allow for inner classes.

Why prefix with “unit of work” when the its name already appears in the test class name? This is redundant. PS: by the way, “unit under test” is probably a better name than “unit of work”

Right, so the reason there are thousands of books and methods about quitting smoking isn’t because it’s hard, it’s because people don’t really want to. Or maybe they’re stupid? Got it.
