There's more than enough competent people who aren't asocial edgelords. Most people are happy letting other people live their lives and will in fact shit on people who don't allow others to do the same. That's not hall m

Normal people aren't raging transphobes and won't tolerate your presence as you make others feel unwelcome. You'll find that out eventually.

Go is pretty obnoxious to write GTK programs in. Vala is basically a GTK-native language.

Can it send whatever signal it is that WMs do when a window is fullscreened, or block the signal sent when it's unfullscreened? If so, I'm 100% sold.

You still do, though. Their chatbot just keeps talking at a basic keyword recognition bot and getting the same menu fed back to it without recognizing or even being able to do anything about it.

The people who would do this canvas trickery are the people that would be held back by the lack of accessibility.

Accessibility features would need to be added to canvases before that reality's possible, so we've got a ways to go yet before we need to worry too much about that.

This isn't fair use changing, it's the platforms. It's all fair use, but it's easier to take things down without question, without even receiving an actual DMCA takedown notice. Music going on in the background for a 15

If anyone was going to, it'd probably be me and my ~300 tabs, but I haven't run into this, either. My phone currently has 435 tabs open in Firefox but it's just as responsive as ever.

This is such a crazy comment to read from my perspective because the answer seems so painfully obvious to me: of course it encourages creativity, and of course it boosts productivity. Being able to obtain, manipulate, and reshare bits of cu

PDF is, or at least can be, a vector format. Or go for PostScript. EPS is a perfectly respectable format as well.

In a lot of ways we're just now reclaiming the good parts of the flash-dominated web. Fair bit of bad collectively as we're relearning, but things are trending in an interesting direction.

So many people allergic to design and equating bad design with all design. Studies? Experts? What could they know? These guys have opinions on modern software and designers to throw under the bus for them.
