You are confused about what costs $10m to train (a base LLM) vs. $100 (fine tuning a pre-trained LLM).

Right, there are a lot of administrators, janitors, technical support staff etc being paid by the university. But I'm surprised they aren't paid by the students tuition fees, since are so ridiculously high already.

Before I read the article, my first reaction was "People. Research grants pay for people('s salaries)." (And other things as well, but that's usually the biggest category) But apparently, in the author's university,

Would be cool to support multi-language conversations. Just tried the Gen Z hotline and I got her to switch to Spanish (read back with a hilarious accent), but the voice recognition doesn't handle me speaking Spanish.

According to PCBshopper JLCPCB would make 3x 2 layer 10cm*10cm boards for 31.59€ and delivery in 7 days, while Aisler would make them for 37.20€ (with delivery often within 3 business days). In my experience there's often a 20€-ish cus

I would recommend you to check out Aisler. Boards made in Germany, cheap and fast! And pretty good quality as far as I can tell. I haven't noticed any defects in many boards ordered.

I've had pretty good experiences with Aisler[1]. They're based in Germany and produce prototype PCBs (2, 4 and 6 layers) ridiculously quickly. For simple 2 layer boards they are often sent in the post within 2 days and arrive the
