It’s a form of “justice porn”. You’re right that these scammers are victims themselves. But seeing how they treat vulnerable groups (particularly less tech savvy, trusting, older people - which may well be your mom one day) is absolutely fu

And thankfully a lot of people realize that’s utter bullshit and are taking measures to fight off further enshittification. I’m not a nationalist but things like the GDPR and DMA make me proud to be European.

What do you think Melon Tusk is doing, apart from letting out his inner (and outer) (and literal) child on the world stage?

Yep, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Your bash script is far less of an abomination than what you made it sound like :)

I’m also a long time i3/sway user and find Niri quite comfy. I can carry over most of my muscle memory from sway for navigating the focus, moving windows etc. I’ve also found it to be very stable and works out of the box with xwayland

Okay, you know what? I laughed a few times. Yeah it may not work as an actual stand up routine to a general audience, it’s kinda cringe (as most LLM-generated content), but it was legitimately entertaining to read.

In my experience with AI for research and programming I find the opposite. It lets me get to the FAFO stage sooner, so I can try many possible paths (many of which may be dead ends).

Thank you for putting this so eloquently, especially “the majority of people are only barely paying attention”. It’s not necessarily bad, as you said, just the reality. We may wish that reality were different or so, but we shouldn’t resent

I remember when PistonMiner finished the fix and executed it on the "flight model". They were quite literally jumping up and down in happiness and the whole Chair of Space Technology at TU Berlin was gossipping about it in the hal

Thank you for your work on Ferrocene! I particularly appreciate that you're open about the price, at least for a starter license. We're using Rust for space applications, and while we don't have a need to certify our software

This is an (unfortunate?) part of the Rust ecosystem. Reminds me of the JS/NPM mess. I think it is a bit better in the Rust world, but I’m still undecided if it is acceptable to have so many crate dependencies for conceptually simple p
