I think these results may be misleading -- most the methods I know of that are >200 lines are implementing some kind of large case statement. Often, these are auto-generated files, not hand-coded ones. So it may not be a fair comparis

It would be an amazing resource. However, you cannot really anonymize that kind of data because if someone knows only a few facts about your medical history they could discover your identity. Still, the benefits probably outweigh the risk

I've though before that a data driven approach would be an interesting attack on this problem. Take the applications, then 4 years later (or 10 or 20) compare it to the students' records and see what factors correlated best with success.
