Interesting to see how well Georgetown does. Figure it's lots of children of legislators following in their parent's footsteps.

I, like Santosh83, remember seeing uBlock or uBlock Origin written with the µ. Can't find it on either of their Github sites now, though.

My wife bought a Garmin Vivofit because it was water-proof and runs for months on a battery. I ended up buying the Vivofit 2 which has a better clasp, a backlight, and is supposed to sync automatically with my phone. When I wore a watch, I

I ported my Cingular/AT&T number to Google Voice many years ago and six months ago ported it to Ting. There are a number of companies who consistently fail to deliver texts to that number. The most notable (for me) is Amazon.

Those of us old enough to remember AT&T before the breakup probably had a similar system with our parents. Call, let it ring once and hang up. Repeat. Wait for mom to call you on the family phone.

Can't agree with this strongly enough. At Schwab I'm using 31 characters randomly generated by LastPass for a login name but they limit things to 8 characters for a password. Absolutely crazy. Even if they are not having problems

I bought a 2013 Chromebook Pixel from somebody. One of his reasons for selling it was that he had enabled developer mode and his child hit the space bar on boot up. That wiped all of his work. He was going back to a laptop.

I'm surprised that I never see mention of having one human at the front and a dozen slave trucks driving behind. The trucks behind could be connected wirelessly. Or they could even use wires. Some sort of machine vision could keep an

My understanding is that many, if not most, local governments have split their pension plans into two levels: employees hired before date X get the defined benefit plan; employees hired after that day get a defined contribution plan instead
