I have had exactly one positive experience with ORMs: nHibernate + fluent nHibernate config with .net's IQueryable expression interface. That is the ONLY time I have used an ORM and felt like I had enough control to do what I needed fo

its really hard to have a serious conversation about population control. It's just one of those topics that immediately label you as some kind of crazy murdering nut-job in the eyes of lots of people. Honestly, it may not have been sup

they wrote their own cni to use AWS networking, much like kubenet. I haven't found details in if everything is encrypted in transit though; I REALLY hope it is.

like almost everyone else, AWS adds services to it's list of PHI approved services that customers with a BAA can utilize for PHI. AWS has done a phenomenal job getting services added to the BAA Service List over the past 6 or 8 months

http://www.aeronhq.com/ quality is fantastic. I think some old revisions required more assembly, this current revision is awesome. One warning, if you are taller than 6ft it may not go high enough for you.

I picked up a used Humanscale freedom for $40 that I'm almost done refurbishing (recover in leather, lubrication, etc...). Just need a couple missing parts from humanscale and it will be ready for the office.
