Only if you do it on a non-Apple comoputer. If you install linux on your mac, then follow the guide I believe it should be fine.

It seems likely that Doom Eternal would also run acceptably on that machine, but that CPU generation and GPU are definitely on their way out.

I like sff machines like the Dell Optiplex. The problem with them though is the lack of compatible graphics cards.

That is what people said, and yet still repair techniques are devised. The cryptographic storage is not tamper proof and thus is all the more reason to repair a board at least well enough to recover your data.

A number of top apple repair places, like Rossman repair group and iPad rehab, clearly do not use an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, reflow oven, or vacuum chamber on any if the repairs I've seen. You do need a reasonably good soldering

Here is a forum thread on doing this that looks to be from the same guy (based on screen caps included), but gives a little more detail: https://www.riscosopen.org/forum/forums/5/topics/15128

For Craigslist list, if it isn't popular in your area, you can use it to search larger cities as well.

Only mentioned in passing, but I think the lack of offline installer will hurt open source users.

It's really simple looking, but I entered my city, and I just love the graphic that was rendered. Is there any chance of making it produce SVGs to download?

I think that you would have a hard time getting EPA approval if you starting making brand new copies of legacy engine designs. A new diesel tractor engine has to meet EPA Final Tier 4/ Stage IV standards. I don't know what would

AES67 microphones exist. Shure, Audio-Technica, and Audix are just 3 manufacturers that make them. Some of them are called Dante mics and you have to turn on AES67 in a confirmation menu. I don't know that there are any good AES67 driv

In my experience of over 15 years, the "rules" have only changed 3 times since I started. First to require good reverse DNS, then to require SPF, last to require DKIM. The transition on each of those was generally several years wi

If they take that shortcut in Python, it tells you that they probably know Python, which also likely suggests they could think it out if they had to. If they think it out the harder way, that shows they can do that, which suggests they can

I wonder what that £20k would turn in to if you could commit to your suppliers that you would be buying a thousand units worth? What about only 100 units worth?

I suspect that when we get computers that are pure EFI and completely free of legacy BIOS, it will be possible to use something like SeaBIOS to continue to add back BIOS compatibility for use with tools like FreeDOS.

It seems impractical to drop support then re-add it. Probably less work to keep building and testing it all along then to have to fix 2 years of 32 bit specific bugs all at once.

They will still be shipping 18.04lts, with security updates, for years to come. This will be increasingly outdated. I'd like to hear specific examples of where that would be a problem though, besides Wine. More specifically, I don'

Many other websites are turning themselves into fairly open accrss market places as well, meaning you have to increasingly go through the same steps on them. A few examples: Newegg, Walmart, Lowes. Now, perhaps those 3 examples are better,
