In the meantime, make no mistake, Apple continues to sweat the details on these events. This year they customized the entrance to the gallery building at Yerba Buena Center, ripping out the doors in the back — just for this event — to crea

I think the end of the argument is a bit short-sighted. [edit: not "argument" - "article"] If your child has potentially powerful skill with computers, you should not simply make sure they aren't DDoS'ing and s

If anyone saw this briefing, it was mostly a lot of really technologically illiterate people asking pointed questions about a gigantic set of systems that can't easily be answered to technologically illiterate people. At one point, a c

Fair comment. I suppose I mean that The Beatles were a large catalyst in shifting culture, in that they mark the beginning of rock and roll and TV-casted, stadium-oriented performance and stardom. More importantly, this was a new wave in ma

Knockout certainly doesn't get as much attention as it should. For those of you reading this comment feed to find out if you should try Knockout, I'd recommend trying it. It is fairly simple to pick up in a weekend, especially wit

Seems like this page could definitely benefit from some sort of Hello World. What are the primary components, and how do I run it? Perhaps it's not meant to be a simple library, so I'm not trying to say dumb it down. But is there

I completely identify with this. Certainly, some of this is introversion, but more of it is science. Peruse Hacker News for a few days and another article will pop up justifying what we all feel when we're at work: interruption is pois

To me, the Tumblr is pointing out an overall lack of attention to detail. Some of these obvious bugs should have never made it past QA/testing, but somehow they did - and that's sloppy UI, regardless of whether it was an intention
