This critique only works if you a priori reject the definition. Try critique on internal grounds. This is why I mentioned unfalsifiability.

I believe that words like "prejudice" are used instead of racism.

When I first encountered this term, I had the same reaction and it seems like a reasonable response but (like one of the replies you've received) you're assuming your definition of racism. The definition that's usually used i

If you're a neophyte like me, take a look at the Odd Lots podcast: https://www.listennotes.com/search/?ocid=c1a7b213882c4e32964... There's a ton of good info in there on what Libor is, why it needed to live,

This reminded me of writing a `is_set_cover_possible` PL/Python function for Postgres. I wanted to take an arbitrary number of arrays. Apparently it's not possible so I just had to overload the function and hope that I would never

Yes, I'm definitely also looking for the cheapest way of making this happen. So the idea of using some container registry is not appealing to me.

I must say, I've really liked github pages for static projects. But yes, for this postgres is essential.

This is helpful, thanks. Software is only a hobby for me so you're right, I want to be deploying more than figuring out how to deploy. I'm a curious person, though, so if it's worth learning k8s, I'll do it. At the same

How are you deploying your stack? I'm more wondering about deployment than stack (I realize they're related questions, though). Is Python serving your frontend or are you using docker? Are your github actions building and pushing

Obviously this is a good thing that we want to see more of. I like the approach of asking engineers what projects to support. My first thought was that this doesn't seem like a large amount. Maybe we need a thread listing large SAAS co

Ahh, I think I was mistaken. I think Anbox already used LXC (which was good because it wasn't emulating the whole OS). The key difference that Waydroid brings is that it is written for Wayland. I guess this is an advantage over X becau

I'm still using my 2014 Lenovo (G50-70) as my daily driver. Upgraded RAM and SSHD (to an SSD) since then moving it from a 8GB / 512GB SSHD to 16GB / 512GB SSD. Both really worthwhile upgrades that have given this laptop legs
