People seem to think it's an issue with the solar panels on twitter. It's looking like the solar panels didn't deploy.

From what I remember NT had some sort of time overflow that would happen after something like a month that caused all sorts of instability. And from what I remember it was SOP to reboot at least once a week. Daily wasn't uncommon either.

I mentioned SNI in my post. It doesn't work for anyone using IE (any version) on Windows XP. Unfortunately, that's enough people to make it impossible to use unless you have an extremely tech-saavy customer base.

Correct, it's really not a solvable problem. It boils down to two problems: 1) SSL hostname has to match the hostname on the cert and 2) you can (realistically) only have one cert per IP address. For 1), you would have to upload the ssl cer

It depends on the turn. With training you can do gentle turns (std rate, 15° bank) with the artificial horizon, turn coordinator, and watching the compass. When doing standard rate turns I watch the nose on the horizon, the turn coordinator

Induction does not work. At all. The UI flickers and moves around. Views snap out of existence and then back based on where you click. And it crashes constantly. I don't think I was able to view a single row from a single table. It also app

The UI looks very much like a programmer wrote it. But I can ignore the gradients and the Soda UI theme makes it look more like a native app. But the find panel is the sole reason I cannot use ST2. Every time I bring it up I can't remember

f.lux caused my mouse to randomly jump on OS X. It didn't seem to matter how fast I'd move it, every 10s or so it would jump 1" in the direction I was moving. Really, really annoying.

Completely depends on the car. Wife has a 2006 Mariner, it has 19mm wheel nuts. My '91 Explorer is 5/8" or 9/16" or so (I don't remember). I also have a BMW that's 100% metric of course. And a '68 mustang that's 100% SAE. The explorer is me

A ricer cooker cuts off when it gets too hot (when the water gets absorbed by the rice and the temp rises). A slow cooker/crock pot keeps a consistent (and relatively low) temperature for a period of time. Some have timers, some don't. Some

7% chargeback rate is insanely high and I wouldn't be surprised if your merchant dropped you. Realistically anything over 0.5% and you're doing something wrong and that's even a magnitude higher than what I would shoot for. Also, selling at

Ahh, news to me. I did some brief searching and it seems like the time limit depends on several things (including type and amount of charge and physical location of the vendor). It could be as little as 45 days or as long as 540. It's defin

Just FYI, with most CC processors, chargeback fees are in addition to reversing the original charge. So you would be out $25 if you were to get a chargeback. And if you won you would get the $10 back but still loose the $15 chargeback fee p

This is how I learned to code. I sat down with the Turbo C book and typed out the examples. Later on (early-mid 90s) I would download code from CompuServe. Instead of using it wholesale I would try to recreate it using my own style and nami

Really? Because BA 38 shows to me why software has a long way to go before it can replace pilots. So you want to detect a fail to spool? OK you need to put a sensor on the engine to detect speed. And one on the throttle to detect position.

How do they expect future ATP to get 1500 hours? Cargo and CFI time? Sims? Even circling around in a Cessna 150 at $50/hour that's $75k and it's not even useful time.

Maybe I'm missing something but how is post_userid better than post.userid? It's the same length, harder to type, and clutters up your table definitions. I've been through all of these naming schemas over the years (including the OP's tbl p
