I don't know what part he plays but Drew Berry is credited in some of the most compelling videos on molecular biology that I've ever seen. They really bring the machinery of biology to life. Most of them are at the WEHIMovies ch

Agree. Neo4j’s visualization tools are surprisingly painful to use. I’d love to find something that allowed you to trivially add code to the layout engine. Graphviz’s clustering capability seems to be unique among any of the tools I’ve us

Had the same question. I always have a roll of that aluminum tape around and find uses for it in hot spots. This seems like it could be better in cases where there’s some flex. It’s probably got a lot higher tensile strength than most tap

That's the point I was getting at originally. I'm not as interested in tracing the neurophysical effects of perception. I'm interested in the components and coordinate space inside the 'game engine' where my percep

If someone is explaining a process and uses a term that I'm not sure I understand (eg. 'upsetting' in blacksmithing or 'sparging' in brewing) they are quite literally wasting their breath and our time. That informa

And yet somehow, as far as we know, the energy of every molecular collision is faithfully preserved during a supernova, when effectively the entire volume of a star collapses into its core in less then a second. Reality is very strange.

I would have a very difficult time coming up with an actionable policy where the objective, implementation and side-effects could all be modeled to a point where the policy in its entirety could be described as based on objective truth.
