I actually originally had something related in my post but removed it: I won't personally consider the site I work on a success unless my mom uses it. She's a physics PhD and she once in a while stumbles onto physics.SE when searc

Luckily a lot of us are on the same page as you :) One of the things I consider a main detriment of our current product is that for the vast majority of users it's built to be transactional. Search, land on SO, read, go back to work. O

Assuming they're using Apache's basic logs wouldn't it be insanely easy to track down all URLs visited by that IP? After you login to Uber.com it instantly does a GET to /api/clients/[PERSUMABLY_USER_ID]?parame

Just curious, what do you think we could be doing that we aren't? Also thanks for teaching me a new idiom :)

A common use case for stolen cards is to do small transactions and see if they are successful or not to let you know if the card you found/bought actually works or does not. This site would be a great way to do that.

I didn't downvote you but I would assume it's because your message seems like the beginning of a flamewar and is also poorly written (Reddit quality). If you are actually interested, here's a report one of our sys admins did

It's simply because that's the stack we know and can utilize the best. We do have some non-MS stack things running but the stack we use is the one we know how to optimize and manage the best.

I loved the post and was not done reading your concluding statements before I got a giant pop-up that asked me to give you my e-mail to read the exact same post I was reading. I understand pop-ups like that work for making mailing lists but

At this point I'm fairly certain you're just trolling me... can you give me any example of why you frown upon running with different local configurations? We have a dev environment where all our code builds upon checkout and then

Did you read the examples in the link? The issue is with different server settings when running locally which is one of the configuration settings that I think anyone can edit to anything they want. Why is it outrageous if someone wants to

Yeah they've acknowledged it, we're not expecting it to get fixed anytime before Update 1 however, which is usually some months later.

Sadly VS 2013 has a huge regression which makes it a no-go for my team over at Stack Exchange, any changes made to the server settings are saved to the project file rather than the per-user settings file, it's been reported but doesn

Sadly you don't say where you work on your bio so I can't add your company to my "never ever apply at" list. New OS updates introduce weird bugs that require hacky code to get around. Early adopters will always update to
