Yes. About 4 times poorer. (Scoping to the domain of “buying a house” which is a huge driving factor in having children) > Median home prices increased 121% nationwide since 1960, but median household income only increased 29%.[0] [0]

Thats a big bet. Hope that you will get to some enlightenment by doing something that is irreversible, life changing and veeeery expensive. It’s like buying a 1M dollar without seeing it and having someone tell you “you’ll love it when you

I see your point, but on my network I want that ability. I want to have my tv connect to YouTube, but not phone Sony/Samsung/whoever. I want to be able to setup a pihole to block adds independently of the browser/device being

(just about app stores) I'd love a middle ground, but if I'm forced to choose, I'd prefer that there weren't other "app stores" on the iPhone, for many of the reasons stated above. But the funny thing is, both

I think they were doing something like going to settings -> Apple ID try to change the password incorrectly many times (or something like that). That would basically lock you out of your own iCloud account (at least for a while) so you c

We desperately need OS level user configurable firewalls. I need to be able to download an app and tell the OS “this app cannot access the internet in any way shape or form”. It won’t solve all the problems. But at least for apps like “alar

Thanks for the explanation and the term "severability". I understand its point now and it makes sense to have it conceptually. I also didn't know about this part: > so long as it's not fundamentally a change to the co

That chart confuses me. Each data point is percentage increase vs the PREVIOUS year? So the "steep dive" that you talk about is a single year -1.7% decrease vs a decade of constant increase, going as high as 4.6% in a single year?

I’ve been a happy user of 1 password for 5+ years, but I’m considering changing. This goes beyond date format for me. Issues like these show that the company is not committed to listening to feedback and addressing issues. It erodes my trus

I agree. This is essentially how Apple handles subscriptions. If you created a subscription using Apple Pay, you can go to settings and cancel it from there. It’s one of the reasons I value Apple Pay.
