Ohhh I misunderstood; I thought they were stealing data by simply observing the blinking LED, not that they had infiltrated the computer and were controlling the LED.

Can I get some clarity on the types of data they extract? Looking at blinking LEDs tells me that the HDD is on and processing something, yes, but it doesn’t tell me the digits of the credit card number it’s processing (for example). Do they

If you can keep a pump running, then you may as well just use adiabatic cooling (gas under pressure gets cooler when released) to keep your stuff cool. That’s how your fridge works!

Are actual technical people reporting issues with internet bandwidth, or are these unjustified fears by politicians?

Why 6 months? How much money does it take to do it in 1 month? Is that amount of money less than trillions of dollars?

Do those things cost trillions of dollars? I don't think so. Each country could probably commit a couple hundred million to this and be better off than a complete shutdown.

Here's what it comes down to then; Which option is cheaper: 1. Spend money to temporarily increase hospital beds and ventilator capacity, but keep everything else running normally, or; 2. Shutdown everything to slow the spread so that

The biggest gain for me came from using a split keyboard. I had some bad habits where my dominant hand was crossing the keyboard to hit keys that my non-dominant one should have been hitting, and this was impacting my speed. By using a spli

Starting a business right now probably isn't a good idea either, so if that's the position you want to take, then there's no practical advice right now.

Go work for a big company. The work is slower and you can take a break. Big companies also mean big opportunities. And you don’t get to see what these opportunities are unless you’re on the inside. You will find some inspiration there for a

It's not "better than nothing" if purchasing and wearing these masks is affecting people who actually need them. No official organization is advocating for their use. It is pure fear-mongering to purchase and wear them as a h

I don't disagree with you, but the risk reduction they provide is so little that you may as well call them "useless". You should go buy a lotto ticket! There's a chance you could win!

Reading training materials does not mean that you are trained . Who is going to slap your hand away from your face when you reach inside your mask to scratch an itch? What if you wash your hands, take of your mask, and then touch the door

Here's why masks are useless: You are going to take your mask off with your dirty hands. You're going to wear your mask dutifully while outside, then you're going to walk inside your house and the first thing you will do is t

Exactly. That’s my point with these glass-quantum dot windows. Glass is fairly sturdy; are all the electronics?

Glass, sure, but what about these quantum dots? LED light bulbs were supposed to last 25 years, but everyone I know that has these replaces them well under that time frame.

That's different. Those are used in places where having a cord to a power source is impossible or impractical, so we accept the trade-off. But if my assumption is true, you might burn a bunch of coal to make these windows, and then nev

My assumption is that "instagrambusinesshelp.com" was impersonating Instagram to scam people. Instagramsucks.com probably isn't trying to impersonate them, just complaining about them.

You used to be able to count on your parents to have your best interests in mind. There seems to be a big generation gap between the pre and post internet generations, which is where I think some of this political turmoil is coming from.
