I know you are joking, but speaking of libraries, you can now create custom video players with libVLC in less than 100 lines, and get a lot of features in a few hundreds lines. (VLC is now based on libVLC) And that works on all platforms, i

I'm probably stupid, but I honestly don't understand this device and Google startegy... It's called Pixel instead of Nexus, (it's running Android), so it's confusing to many people, on the market positioning side...

This codec was RE'd 2 weeks ago and was merged in FFmpeg and libavcodec this weekend, by a member of the VideoLAN non-profit organization. Expect it in VLC soon.

We are exactly working on that. If you see the Android and iOS versions of VLC, they have those library features. It will come on desktop.

Very decorelated. libVLC is used in Android, iOS, WinRT, Tizen ports of VLC. You can build any UI you want about the library. Moreover, we're working on a new UI, right now.

Thanks a lot for the answer and the proposal. But we do not want to have anything critical that is not open source. We try to promote OpenSource, so using non-open-source software is hard to do. 1. Thanks, but see above :) 2. As I said, cus
