The new generations of "developers" do not understand Linux or anything low-level. It's very funny.

This is one of the problems with having VCs. Your business could be going well and all your employees be happy and then some guy decides he's not happy with the results.

Still not going to pay for any online news service. The Internet has been a free resource where everyone voluntarily chimed in, despite how angry freelance "writers" get.

This is why it must be a requirement for politicians to be self-funded. If you can't succeed in the financial world why should I trust you to manage a country? I miss Trump.

YouTube has been unusable for the last 3-4 years. All the outdoors, ASMR, and cooking content has been invaded by naked girls trying to sell their OnlyFans or irrelevant videos.

ASMR is awesome, I need it to sleep nowadays. But sadly it has turned into a target for camgirls and people who expose their body and provide no real ASMR content.

I want to love Go, due to my background in C and UNIX sysadmin, but can't. Rust does it for me though.

Indeed, if you can't spend it or use it, is it really yours? This is something up to debate.

I don't really understand people who have lots of money and not spend it. Whenever I get paid from my remote jobs or a business venture I either travel or buy cool gear or things I want.

That is the problem with the BSD license, it says "use my work and don't give anything back". Of course, GPL gets violated too, but would be very difficult by an American company like Netflix.
