Well I see a lot of people already moving away from Linux due to the systemd fiasco. This gives people options so that;'s good.

I've the same. If I get a popup or an overlay I simply close the tab whatever was on it. Without even thinking. If I notice an advert I think scumbag company, how can they think that interrupting what I am here for is more likely t

Couldn't agree with most of this more. HTTP/2.0 seems to be me to be an entirely pointless set of unwanted complications and agendas disguised as technical improvements.

I feel there is probably a little bit of truth to this, but not enough to make a huge difference. Maybe it will help you lose weight a bit faster in combination with eating less, excercise more etc.

I think the bigger issue would be knowing who is using it. One team might think we only have 5 people so we'll use it! And a different team in another office might think the same. Oops.

The new gmail is ok although it has absolutely no advantages over the old one so it's merely irritating they changed it just because they could. Except for the compose button over the top of my text which is really awful and I hate it

Yeah and too many times when you complain about this kind of thing you get accused of "hating change" or some such thing. No, I hate THIS change because THIS change is bad!

I read the first line and I thought it was going to be a proper linux distro without all that new systemd junk. But then I saw it was for z80. Very disapointed :(

It's pretty much the same with applications and websites. The "trendy" ones seem to have fancy interfaces that are useless (I'm thinking of this trend in web page design to have vertically scrolling pages where each page

I don't necessarily agree with all of this analysis. I think the more likely reasons are that it's very easy to be against the war when you are not in power. But once you are in power it's not sufficient to be against it, you

This to me is a good example of why exceptions in modern languages are good way to handle errors. In this case the user has basically ignored the error return from fork() and the accidentally used it in kill. If fork() had thrown an excepti
