Lots of people were unlisted on purpose. e.g. people with aggressive ex-boyfriends.

I'm similarly cranky about AI generated search results, but the kagi ones have clickable citations. Those citations are great results.

In some symbolic logic classes, that character "bottom" represents "false" ad flipped "top" means true. Don't know what they're getting at in the code, though.

This honestly sounds great and the price looks great, too. Only things stopping me are 1. I'm on regular Linux 2. It's not clear if it sends absolutely nothing out over the network. 1. Might be a heavy lift depending on your UI

Readers don't know this. They just know your e-mails always look weird and quote other e-mails weirdly. I say this as a daily mutt user.

This is why you see so many grad students and early career faculty with their own domains. Which is a reputational hit on departments against their will.

I independently discovered base36 for a personal project recently and was very happy to have an explanation for why Python's base conversion goes up to 36.

In America iMessage has extremely strong network effects. I read about an Android user who carried around an iPhone specifically to avoid having a green bubble with dating prospects.

Any brand names for 0-salt stock you can share? I don't even particularly like cooking, but make lots of stuff from scratch just to reduce specifically salt.

There are a few attempts to do this (git-bug is the most recent I remember). I desperately want one to get traction. git-bug even has a way to bridge your issues to github/gitlab/etc. trackers.

I've been using an emoji separated values format for a personal project where fields contain lots of special characters including whitespace. I'd previously given up using ASV because of the printability and copy/paste proble

I'm honestly shocked that with all the ways iphone users are supposed to live in a better world than me, they lack this simple, obvious useful ability that the lowliest SMS/MMS user has.

I was happily running Arch on my netbook until they dropped support. I ran the Arch32 variant for a while, but could see the writing on the wall and got an irritatingly larger laptop only for its 64 bitness. The netbook sits in a drawer now

Wow. Didn't know this. Signal's got a lot of user warnings when doing anything that breaks the security model. I don't remember Desktop giving a "Your chats are essentially unencrypted on this platform" warning.
