That's not what I meant by "works". I meant works for the use case. Moment has worked 100% for me whenever I used it. It's API is simple and does what it says.

I think the point is those fees are ridiculous.

I think you might be downvoted because you plastered a link with no explanation. It doesn't actually address my concern, which was that when I was reading the documentation I did not see any examples.

by jazoom 9y ago
Thanks. I didn't find that last time. Examples should really be in the actual documentation.

What if one does not want to use a port of Joda? Even looking at the documentation makes me run away. Where are all the examples? date-fns seems good, moment works well too, despite its flaws, this new one is worth looking at. Dismissing al

99%+ of people don't think like you and don't care about the distinction between code on the browser and code on the OS. "A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important issue. It may be eit

They killed my trust about 3 years ago. I'm so glad I moved over to web dev.

But what is a computer for if not running other people's code? I can't imagine there are many people in this world who have a computer with more than even 1% their own code running on it.

This whole thread is based on an article about Aus. I think it's reasonable to take people's comments in that context unless otherwise specified.

Australia was pretty much unaffected by all that. And it seems OP mentioned that subprime bubble.

If so then I don't know why it has felt so different to every other app on all 3 of my Nexus devices (currently the 6P).

It's definitely smooth. Too smooth, in fact. It feels like my finger is slipping on the screen. No other app does this.

Firefox on Android has awful scrolling physics. I will never be able to use it while the scrolling is different to every other app on my phone.

I tried using DDG yesterday and found they don't show the dates of articles in search results. That's a big omission IMO.

I'm sure the point was, why build an app with a difficult platform when the is an easier-to-use platform that does the same thing.

Sometimes maintainers haven't taken my bug reports seriously because I still use the default avatar. Apparently that's important. When I made bug reports explaining the exact issue, the maintainers would ask me for a PR. I felt th

I'd say you're right. I've been coding for about 6 years and only submitted my first PR on GitHub earlier this year. It was pretty confusing and I think I did some things wrong. I've been using git for about 5 years but

This is awesome. Thanks. Where do you query the data from? Do you scrape it from somewhere and store it in your own database?
