I wonder why people hate on believing that the sun revolves around the earth. It would make for more complicated equations of motion, but is not unscientific or wrong to believe that to be the case. It just turns out that the math is easier

I got annoyed when I got into a disagreement with a moderator and was kicked out of a room repeatedly. I am not sure how many others had a similar experience but I just left the site after that. It made the site feel unwelcoming.
