Why is the web worse with javascript? I think one if the main reasons flash was bad because it's proprietary, whereas js isn't. Also, you didn't address any of OP's points about the separation of styling and function.

I really like the idea. Here are areas I think it could be improved. – It seems like there's no way to comment on links. If this is a place for discussion, there should be a way to comment on links, right? – The UI is very spread out

I think this is the problem Others was referring to with the xkcd. Anaconda might be the best one in your opinion, but there's a bunch more, like pip's `requirments.txt` and virtualenv

Sarcasm? While it's not a bad website, I wouldn't say it inspires me to get into stats with R. It doesn't have a code example, or much color. I think the python homepage is much better designed

Chrome. I like how chrome looks more, and I use a google account so everything is integrated really well into Chrome. I've also never had a reason to switch because everything just works on Chrome.
