Thank you so much for this. I never even thought to look for a way to change it back, I thought I was stuck with this annoyance forever.

Does the default really matter in this case, though? It's not even like it takes a registry hack to move it back to the left. It's right there in the taskbar settings.

No. The listed software is not preinstalled by Microsoft. OP must have used an OEM version that includes it.

I'm guessing the comment was referring to the drone having a GPS receiver and relaying it's position to the base station.

You completely missed what this vulnerability is. It has nothing to do with intercepting another user's traffic. The checkout page in question actually uses SSL anyway, so it's not even possible absent some sort of MITM attack. Th

This one is 100% due to incompetence. There was no attempt at anything resembling security.

At least as far as the connectivity itself goes, Viasat's Ka-band airplane WiFi is actually really good. As luck would have it, I've got a flight coming up in a few days on a plane using the provider implicated in this article. I&

I can understand when there's a bug that causes something like this. It doesn't excuse it, but we all introduce bugs in code, and sometimes they're disastrous. But this? This is just straight up careless, thoughtless design w

Well, Microsoft's legal team obviously came to the conclusion that the emails and payment were at least sufficient to grant Mojang a license to the artist's work. So there's that. They could have been wrong, sure. But absent

This is correct. Apple said they've abandoned CSAM scanning for iCloud Photos, but they haven't said anything about on-device scanning as far as I've seen.

Zero households. This system is meant to communicate with one ground station at a time, and only for a very brief window. It's really only good for downlinking bulk data that was collected by the satellite, not Internet access.

Safari has pretty good privacy protections, but you could also just... not use Google. I've never even had iOS reset my default search engine.

My state is the same as long as you're doing it with a regular renewal. I did it last time I renewed my license, because I already had a passport. Even though it certainly seems that it'll never be enforced.

SiriusXM is a company that does a lot more than just "making radio channels." This is an egregious security issue, but SXM offering the service makes sense. They also offer an aviation weather service.
