It'd be cheaper for Netflix to poach AMC's top talent and invest in new original shows without buying an entire network.

Exactly. My brother cut short his PhD and got a M.S. when he realized the life of a professor was basically being a manager with employees that were harder to fire. If he wanted to be a manager, he'd have gotten an MBA.

On the Media did a great story on this [1]. If you've got 13 minutes to spare, they discuss the copyright issue and the actual construction and delivery of the speech itself. [1] http://www.onthemedia.org/2012/jan&

That was my exact thought when I read this headline. My Yahoo usage from January-->Mid July is no existent. Mid-July--> December is 4-5 times per day.

Did you have any access to Musk and/or family/friends or is it mainly compiled from already available sources? Either way, it looks like a good read.

I agree completely. I can cook my own food, but I don't do it all the time. Also, just because you own a car, doesn't mean you have space to change your oil or the storage area for the (few) tools required and the 5 quarts of use

If you quit to work on your own stuff (and have a nest egg to fall back on), have at it. If you plan on working for someone else, that employment gap would be a red flag.
