There are revenue recognition rules that govern what Revenue is on the P&L. Same with costs/expenses. But I would say if anything, profits are easier to manipulate than revenue.

Geocities and Angelfire are how I learned to program for the web. Amazing how much of the fundamentals of the web are still exactly the same as they were back then (90s). Just with a lot more layers of libraries today.

Agreed, it’s about understanding the problem they have or the thing they are trying to accomplish so you can invent a new or better way to solve it (or eliminate the need for it in the first place).
